2020: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19 in his final year with the program.

2019: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles as the team’s backup goalkeeper in his first year with the program. Made his Cal State LA debut and played 20 minutes in a 6-0 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 9. Made one save to complete a combined shutout.

At Oxnard College: Was the school’s 2018 Athlete of the Year and was named the Ventura County Sports Hall of Fame College Athlete of the Year.

At Channel Islands High School: Was the Most Valuable Player for the men’s soccer team in 2016.

Personal: Son of Reynaldo and Rosio Hernandez. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys weight training and training young goalkeepers. Lists watching Ochoa save the last penalty kick in the Copa Ora semi-final as his most exciting experience in sports. Says he wants to pursue a professional soccer career after graduating.
