Biography

2022: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in all 20 games with nine starts. Played a total of 866 minutes. Had one goal and three assists for five points. Scored his lone goal in a 6-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 17. Picked up his first assist of the season on a second-half goal by Jeppe Paulsen in a 1-0 win at Simon Fraser on Aug. 27. Also had an assist on a goal by Paulsen in the first half of a 1-1 tie at Cal Poly Humboldt on Sept. 30. Had his final assist on a second-half goal by Lucas Rosales in a 3-0 win over Sonoma State on Oct. 14. Earned the California Collegiate Athletic Association’s Elite 13 Award for highest academic achievement among his peers at the CCAA Championship site. Earned a 2022-23 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and 2022-23 CCAA All-Academic honors. Also received 2022 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. For his career, appeared in 43 games with 26 starts. Played a total of 1,937 minutes. Had five goals and four assists for 14 points.

2021: Had a strong season for the national champions in his on-field debut at Cal State LA. Was tied for fifth in scoring with four goals and one assist for nine points. Appeared in all 23 games and started 17 times. Played a total of 1,071 minutes. Made his Cal State LA debut and got his first start against Simon Fraser on Sept. 5. Scored the opening goals in a pair of consecutive 2-0 wins at Concordia on Sept. 15 and at Biola on Sept. 18. Also assisted on a goal by David Elizaga in the 16th minute in the win at Biola. Scored the first goal in a 3-0 win against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 8 and had the second goal in a 3-1 win over Cal Poly Pomona in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship Game on Nov. 14. All four of his goals were game-winners. Earned 2021-22 CCAA All-Academic honors and received 2021 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2020: Earned 2020-21 CCAA All-Academic honors and also received 2020 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition in his first year with the program. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Notre Dame de Namur: Started all 18 games for the Argonauts in his one year with the program. Had one goal and one assist on the season. Scored the team’s second goal and had an assist on the final goal in a 4-0 win over Fresno Pacific on Oct. 29, 2019. Earned Freshman of the Week honors in October of 2019.

At Luleaa Gymnasieskola: Competed in soccer.

Personal: Son of Peter and Monica Olofsson. Majoring in business administration. Enjoys watching football, playing video games and hanging out with friends. Lists winning the national championship with Cal State LA in 2021 and playing in the Swedish national championships and competing against the best teams in the country as his most exciting experience in sports.
