Cal State LA Athletics

2022: Was a key part of Cal State LA’s national title defense in his one year with the program. Was named the Most Valuable Defensive Player while helping the Golden Eagles win the California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament title. Appeared in 20 games with 10 starts for the Golden Eagles. Played a total of 959 minutes. Had a total of three assists for three points. Made his first appearance for the Golden Eagles and played 41 minutes in a 6-0 win over Saint Martin’s on Aug. 25. Assisted an opening goal by Jacob Chong in a 3-1 win at Azusa Pacific on Sept. 10. Got his first start and played 48 minutes in a 2-0 win at Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 6. Started the last 10 games of the season. Picked up an assist on a goal by Alex Rodriguez just 61 seconds into the game in a 4-0 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 16 and got an assist on a goal by Oliver Diaz in a 2-1 win at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 23. Played a season-high 90 minutes in a 1-0 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 27.

At University of Charleston: Appeared in 18 games with two starts in 2021 and helped team reach the NCAA championship match in 2021. Played a total of 776 minutes. Was tied for third on the team with six assists.

At Christian Brothers: Led the team in assists in 2018 and 2019. Had two goals and six assists for 10 points in 2018 and four assists in 2019.

At Finchley Catholic High School: Earned the Manager’s Player of the Year award twice.

Personal: Son of Ioannis and Kathleen Raptis. Pursuing a Master’s degree in psychology. Enjoys traveling, cycling and going to the beach. Lists playing in the 2021 NCAA national final against Cal State LA as his most exciting experience in sports.
