Biography

2024: Had a tremendous season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in all 21 games with 19 starts. Played a total of 1,110 minutes. Led the team in scoring with seven goals and two assists for 16 points. Scored one goal in seven games. Had the final goal in a 4-1 win over Colorado School of Mines on Sept. 20. Scored the game-winner in the 77th minute of a 2-1 win at Stanislaus State on Oct. 6. Had the lone goal in a 1-1 tie at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 20. Had a goal and an assist in a 3-3 tie at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 25. Had goals in back-to-back games at San Francisco State and Cal State Monterey Bay. Got the first goal in a 2-1 win at San Francisco State on Nov. 1 and got the Golden Eagles’ lone goal in a 1-1 tie at Cal State Monterey Bay on Nov. 3. Got his final goal in a 4-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills in an NCAA Tournament game on Nov. 24 in University Stadium. Earned 2024-25 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors. For his career, appeared in 52 games with 39 starts. Played a total of 2,411 minutes. Had 10 goals and seven assists for 27 points.

2023: Was one of the team’s most improved players in his second year with the program. Appeared in 21 games with 20 starts. Played a total of 1,154 minutes. Had two goals and six assists for 10 points. Led the team in assists and was tied for fourth in points. Got his first start for the Golden Eagles and played 45 minutes in a season-opening 1-0 win over Regis on Aug. 31. Scored the game-winning goal in the 21st minute of a 1-0 win over Westmont on Sept. 6. Also scored the first goal in the 11th minute of a 3-0 victory at Sonoma State on Oct. 27. Recorded a pair of assists in a 5-0 win over San Francisco State on Sept. 29, the first on a goal by Jeppe Paulsen in the 14th minute and the second on a goal by Bryan Ortega in the 58th minute. Picked up the first assist of his Cal State LA career on an opening goal by Carson Nguyen in a 3-0 win at Biola on Sept. 9. Also got an assist on a goal by Aidan Wait in the 40th minute of a 3-1 win over Point Loma on Sept. 16. Got an assist on a goal by Wait to open the scoring in a 4-2 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Nov. 2 and got an assist on a goal by Wait in an NCAA national quarterfinal game against Colorado State Pueblo on Dec. 3.

2022: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 10 games and played a total of 147 minutes. Had one goal and two points. Scored his first career goal for the Golden Eagles in the 89th minute of a 6-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 17. Made his Cal State LA debut and played 20 minutes in a 3-1 win over Azusa Pacific on Sept. 10. Played a season-high 30 minutes against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 25.

At Bromma Gymnasium: Competed in soccer.

Personal: Son of Mattias and Kristina Warne. Majoring in business management. Enjoys sports, and spending time with friends and family. Lists scoring on a bicycle kick in the final of a tournament as his most exciting experience in sports.
