Biography

2024: Was on the roster, but did not appear in any games for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program.

At Vanguard: Earned Defender of the Week honors eight times and helped team to a Golden State Athletic Conference title in 2022. Started 34 games in two seasons for the Lions.

At Bishop Mora Salesian High School: Was on a team that won CIF and state championships in 2021. Earned first-team All-CIF honors in 2021 and 2022 and was a three-time first-team All-Del Rey League selection. Competed in soccer and football.

Personal: Son of Edwin and Guadalupe Monterrosa. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys fishing, camping and catching sunsets. Lists winning the U.S. Club Soccer Regional Tournament and the U.S. Club Soccer National Tournament and then CIF and state championships with his high school team as his most exciting experience in sports.
