2024: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in his second and final year with the program. Appeared in 14 games with three starts. Played a total of 481 minutes. Made his season debut and played five minutes in a 2-0 win at Fresno Pacific on Sept. 5. Got his first start of the season and played 90 minutes in a 0-0 tie at Seattle Pacific on Sept. 14. Earned 2024 California Collegiate Athletic Association Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. For his career, appeared in 27 games with 13 starts. Played a total of 1,231 minutes.

2023: Had a strong first season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 13 games with 10 starts. Played a total of 750 minutes. Made his Cal State LA debut and got his first start in a 1-0 win over Westmont on Sept. 6. Made his final start of the season in a 5-0 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 15 and was injured 10 minutes into the game. Missed the next four games before returning to play 37 minutes in a 4-2 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Nov. 2. Missed the next four games before returning to play 10 minutes in an NCAA national quarterfinal game against Colorado State Pueblo on Dec. 3. Earned 2023-24 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Filbornaskolan: Took third place in Sweden’s highest division.

Personal: Son of Joakim Olsen and Pirjo Kaikkonen. Majoring in business administration. Enjoys golf. Lists taking third place in Sweden’s highest division as his most exciting experience in sports. Older brother Carl was on Cal State LA’s 2021 NCAA Championship team.
