Cal State LA Athletics

2023: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Was one of the top goalkeepers in the nation in his first season as a starter. Played every minute of every game for the Golden Eagles. Allowed only 11 goals in 22 games and recorded 16 shutouts with a goals against average of 0.49. Made 91 saves and had a save percentage of 0.892. The 16 shutouts were a program record and led the nation. Was also No. 2 in the nation in save percentage and No. 4 in the nation in goals against average. The save percentage was a new program record, while the goals against average was No. 2 all-time. Earned second-team All-West Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches and D2 Conference Commissioners Association. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors and was the CCAA Tournament Most Valuable Defensive Player after helping the Golden Eagles to a third straight title. Made 10 saves in the title game against Cal Poly Pomona – a season-high eight during regulation time and two overtime periods of a 0-0 tie and two during the penalty kick shootout that the Golden Eagles captured, 4-3. Added two shutouts in NCAA playoff wins against Point Loma (1-0) and Cal Poly Pomona (1-0). Earned CCAA Player of the Week honors twice – once for the week of Sept. 4-10 and the other for the week of Oct. 23-29. For his career, finished with a record of 18-1-3 with 25 appearances and 22 starts. Played a total of 2,086 minutes. Recorded 93 saves and had a save percentage of 0.894 Had 16 shutouts and a goals against average of 0.47. Ranked No. 1 in program history in career save percentage, No. 2 in goals against average and No. 6 in shutouts.

2022: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles in his first competitions for the program. Appeared in three games and played a total of 66 minutes. Completed three shutouts in goal. Made two saves and did not allow a goal in his three games. Made his Cal State LA debut and played a season-high 29 minutes in a 6-0 win over Saint Martin’s on Aug. 25. Made the first save of his career and played the final 10 minutes of a 6-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 17. Also made a save and played the final 26 minutes of a 4-0 win over San Francisco State on Oct. 16. Earned 2022 California Collegiate Athletic Association Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2021: Was on the roster for the national champions, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles.

2020: Earned 2020-21 CCAA All-Academic honors in his first year with the program. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Oslo Handelsgymnasium: Played club soccer in Norway.

Personal: Son of ?????Helge and Susanne Ward Åadlandsvik. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys soccer, piano, gaming, friends and watching good movies. Lists trialing and playing a game for Leicester U17 Academy and winning the national championship with Cal State LA as his most exciting experiences in sports.
