Cal State LA Athletics

2023: Appeared in two games and for a total of 35 minutes in his final year with the program. Made his season debut in a 3-0 win at Biola on Sept. 9 and played a season-high 20 minutes. Also played 15 minutes in a 5-0 win over San Francisco State on Sept. 29. For his career, appeared in 13 games and played a total of 293 minutes. Had two assists for two points.

2022: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 11 games and played a total of 258 minutes. Had two assists for a total of two points. Made his Cal State LA debut and played 17 minutes in a 2-0 win over Concordia on Sept. 3. Made his presence felt in a big way with a two-assist game in a 2-0 win at Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 6. Both goals were scored by Tommaso Belli, one in each half. Had the primary assist on the first goal and the lone assist on the second goal. Played a season-high 43 minutes in a 4-0 win at Stanislaus State on Oct. 21.

At West Valley College: Was the leading scorer in the Coast Conference in 2021 with 10 goals and two assists for 23 points. Also played in 16 games as a freshman.

At Fremont High School: Attended, but did not compete in any sports.

Personal: Son of Juan and Ana Torres. Majoring in business administration. Enjoys car and go-kart racing and playing basketball. Lists playing at the top academy level amongst MLS academies as his most exciting experience in sports.
