Cal State LA Athletics

2023: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in all 22 games and started 19 times. Played a total of 1,412 minutes. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention and played a role in the midfield for a Cal State LA team that was second in the nation in shutouts and fourth in goals against average. Made his Cal State LA debut and played 32 minutes in a 1-0 win over Regis on Aug. 31. Made his first career start for the Golden Eagles and played 72 minutes in a 3-0 win at Biola on Sept. 9. Played a season-high 85 minutes in a 1-0 win at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 6. Earned a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Also earned 2023 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Maryville University: Earned second-team All-Midwest Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches and second-team All-GLVC Conference honors in 2022. Also earned Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators. Appeared in 61 fall games with 49 starts in his career. Had one goal and played a total of 1,420 minutes in 2022 after scoring one goal and adding two assists in 1,369 minutes in 2021.

At Amedeo Avogardo High School: Attended

Personal: Son of Sandro Antonacci and Tiziana Garezzo. Is a graduate student after earning his bachelor’s degree in economics at Maryville. Enjoys fitness, books, cinema and traveling. Lists winning the GLVC championship twice and reaching the NCAA playoffs every season at Maryville as his most exciting experiences in sports.
