Cal State LA Athletics

2018: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Started all 52 games in the infield for the Golden Eagles and also made five appearances on the mound. Hit .301 with 62 hits in 205 at bats. Had three home runs, 27 RBI and 41 runs scored. Was third on the team in batting average, second in runs scored, fourth in RBI and led the team in doubles with 12 and triples with five. Was also 2-0 on the mound with a 4.50 earned run average with two saves. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Went 3-for-5 with one run scored in his Cal State LA debut against Stanislaus State on Feb. 9. Went 3-for-4 with a season-high three runs scored and two RBI in a 12-4 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on March 4. Was 2-for-4 with three runs scored in a 9-4 win over Sonoma State on April 13. Hit home runs in back-to-back games at San Francisco State on April 7-8. Hit his first home run of the season at Cal State East Bay on Feb. 24. Made his pitching debut and got the final out of the eighth inning to get the win in an 8-7 victory over Stanislaus State on Feb. 10. Allowed one run over two innings of relief and picked up the win in an 8-7 win over British Columbia on Feb. 16. Pitched a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 6-5 win over Cal Poly Pomona on March 8 and picked up a save by getting the final two outs of a 7-5 win over UC San Diego on April 28.

At University of New Mexico: Hit .234 at the Division I program with two home runs, 30 RBI and 21 runs scored in 2017.
 
At Cosumnes River College: Hit .326 as a sophomore with two home runs and 36 RBI in 126 at bats. Hit .347 as a freshman with 13 doubles, 41 RBI and 44 runs scored in 170 at bats. Earned All-Conference and Rawlings All-America honors.
 
At Jesuit High School: Competed in baseball and basketball and earned All-City honorable mention in baseball.
 
Personal: Son of Quinn Gregory and Alicia Altamirano. Majoring in communications. Enjoys camping.
