Cal State LA Athletics

2018: Made meaningful contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 21 games and started twice. Hit .176 with three hits in 17 at bats. Scored four runs and drove in one. Made his Cal State LA debut and went 1-for-1 in the opener of a doubleheader at Stanislaus State on March 10. Got his first start in the nightcap and went 1-for-3 with one run scored and one RBI in an 8-7 victory. Also went 1-for-1 in a 13-0 win over Cal State San Bernardino on May 5.

At UNLV: Appeared in 27 games with 17 starts and scored 13 runs in 2017. Was a Mountain West Conference Scholar-Athlete.
 
At El Camino College: Appeared in 64 games over two seasons and hit .316 with 44 runs scored and 32 RBI. Earned All-South Coast Conference second-team honors. Was on the Dean’s List both years.
 
At Mira Costa High School: Competed in football and baseball. Lettered four years in baseball and was a Scholar-Athlete all four years. Team won the 2013 Bay League Championship and was a 2013 CIF finalist. Earned first-team All-Bay League and second-team All-Area honors and was the team’s best offensive player in 2013.
 
Personal: Son of Otis Allen and Kebe Jones-Allen. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys bitcoin, playing NBA 2K, listening to music and coaching youth baseball. Lists playing in a CIF championship game in Dodger Stadium and making ESPN SportsCenter’s Top Ten as his most exciting experiences in sports. Notes he’s “faster than 5.” Also notes he has a sister, Kayleigh Allen.
