2017: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Made 13 appearances on the mound, including seven starts. Had a 3-5 record with a 5.51 earned run average. Had 14 walks and 40 strikeouts in 49 innings pitched. Went five strong innings, allowing only five hits and one run to get the victory in a 7-2 win at California Baptist on Feb. 3. Walked one and struck out five. Went 6 1/3 innings and gave up only five hits and two runs to get the win in a 3-2 victory at Cal Poly Pomona on March 11. Struck out a career-high eight in six strong innings at Cal State San Marcos on May 6. For his career, made 24 appearances on the mound, including 10 starts. Had a 5-10 record with a 5.80 earned run average. Walked 36 and had 56 strikeouts in 76 innings pitched. Also had two hits in 21 plate appearances as a hitter.

2016: Was a valuable member of the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 14 games as a position player and had a two-hit day at California Baptist on Feb. 6. Made 11 appearances on the mound, including three starts. Had a 2-5 record with a 6.33 earned run average. Picked up his first victory by pitching three scoreless innings at UC San Diego on March 5. Allowed only one hit, walked one and struck out four. Also picked up a win after 1 1/3 innings of relief against Cal State Monterey Bay on April 3. Walked 20 and struck out 16 in 27 innings pitched.

At Long Beach City College: Earned first-team All-Conference honors in 2015. Hit .293 with one home run, 15 RBI and 22 runs scored. Also hit .250 as a freshman with 25 hits in 100 at bats and earned second-team All-Conference honors.

At Mayfair High School: Earned first-team All-League honors in 2012 and 2013 and earned the team’s Silver Slugger Award after hitting .519. Also earned All-League honorable mention in 2011.

Personal: Son of Randy and Shannon Davis. Majoring in business. Enjoys golf and video games. Lists hitting a game-winning double against Compton College as his most exciting experience in sports.
