Cal State LA Athletics

2017: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 32 games and started 28 ties and was one of the team leaders. Hit .269 with 28 hits in 104 at bats. Had one home run, six doubles, 16 runs scored and four runs batted in. Went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in a 10-6 win over San Francisco State on April 8. Also had three hits and scored a run in a win at Cal State San Marcos on May 6. Hit a solo home run and had two hits against Chico State in a California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament game on May 10. Had six multi-hit games.

At Bethany College: Played in 50 games and made 33 starts in two years. Had a total of 103 at bats. Also made one successful appearance on the mound. Picked up the win with three scoreless innings and struck out three.

At Compton College: Played in 30 games as a freshman.

At East Los Angeles College: Earned first-team All-Conference honors twice after making 25 pitching appearances and 19 starts. Had a 4-3 record with a 1.87 earned run average as a freshman. Made 11 starts and had a 2.20 earned run average in 56 1/3 innings as a sophomore.

At Great Oak High School: Competed in golf and chess and was also a member of the band.

Personal: Son of Dave and Julie Alexander. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys welding, bocce ball, ping pong and penny smashing.
