2015: Saw playing time for the Golden Eagles in his second and final season with the program. Appeared in 14 games and started three times. Hit .150 with three hits in 20 at bats. Had one double and one run scored. Went 1-for-3 with a run scored in a 15-2 win against Saint Katherine College on Feb. 15. Had a pinch-hit double against Cal Poly Pomona on April 18 in the opener of a doubleheader. Got the start in the nightcap and went 1-for-3. For his career, appeared in 38 games and started 16 times. Hit .123 with eight hits in 65 at bats. Scored a total of six runs and had one RBI.

2014: Appeared in 24 games for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program and started 13 times. Drew the Opening Day start at shortstop at California Baptist on Feb. 1. Hit .111 with five hits and five runs scored in 45 at bats. Went 1-for-2 with one run scored and one RBI at Cal State Dominguez Hills on May 3. Hit safely in two of his last three games with plate appearances.

At Cuesta College: Hit .315 while appearing in 35 games in 2013. Earned first-team All-Western State Conference honors. Received second-team All-Western State Conference honors in 2011 after hitting .306 during his freshman season.

At Santa Monica High School: Competed in baseball.

Personal: Son of Dave and Tammy Montanari. Majoring in business. Enjoys basketball, the beach and movies.
