2017: Made big contributions both on the mound and at the plate once again for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Made 10 appearances, including one start. Hit .222 with two hits in nine at bats. Had one home run, two runs batted in and three runs scored. Also made eight appearances, including one start, on the mound. Went 1-1 with a 6.10 earned run average. Walked seven and struck out seven in 10 1/3 innings. Made his final collegiate at bat a memorable one, drilling a two-run home run in the ninth inning against UC San Diego in a California Collegiate Athletic Association game on May 12. Had a triple and scored a run at Cal State San Marcos on May 6. Was a pinch runner and scored a run in a 12-7 win over Cal Poly Pomona on March 11. Didn't allow a run over 1/1/3 innings and picked up his first career win in a 10-9, 12-inning victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 3. For his career, appeared in 55 games and hit .279 with 29 hits in 104 at bats. Had three home runs, 11 RBI and 18 runs scored. Made 18 appearances as a pitcher, including one start. Pitched a total of 21 1/3 innings. Went 1-4 with a 5.91 earned run average. Had 11 walks and 11 strikeouts. 

2016: Was a valuable contributor for the Golden Eagles both in the field and on the mound. Hit a team-best .311 with 23 hits in 74 at bats. Hit two home runs, scored 12 runs and drove in six. Had a season-high four hits, including his second home run, at Cal State Dominguez Hills on April 30. Scored three runs and drove in one. Went 2-for-5 with two RBI against British Columbia on Feb. 18. Had five multi-hit games. Also pitched nine innings in nine relief appearances. Did not allow a hit or run in four of those outings. Walked four and struck out three. Was one of two Cal State L.A. recipients of the 2015-16 Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award from the CCAA for academic and athletic accomplishments.

2015: Appeared in five games for the Golden Eagles, including one start. Went 4-for-6 with two runs scored and two RBI against Saint Katherine College on Feb. 15. Also entered the game as a pinch runner and scored a run at Cal State Stanislaus on April 12.

2014: Made 14 appearances for the Golden Eagles, including one scoreless relief appearance on the mound. Got his first career start as a catcher against Chico State on March 16. Had two walks in 15 plate appearances and had one RBI against Sonoma State on Feb. 16. Threw two scoreless innings in his lone pitching appearance at Cal State East Bay on April 26.

2013: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles and was a red-shirt.

At Lakewood High School: Earned second-team All-Moore League honors as a senior.

Personal: Son of Mitch and Laura Dixon. Is a graduate student in industrial and technical studies. Enjoys hockey. Lists winning the Moore League championship as his most exciting experience in sports.
