2014: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program.

2013: Made only two starts before missing the remainder of the season with an injury. Pitched five innings in his first start against California Baptist on Feb. 4 and allowed six hits and three runs while walking two and striking out four.

At San Joaquin Delta College: Had a 5-1 record with a 3.04 earned run average in 10 starts in 2012. Helped team to the 2011 California state championship during his freshman season and was a Torch of Excellence Scholar-Athlete award-winner.

At St. Mary’s High School: Was on a team that won a CIF championship. Hit .371 with 38 RBI and also had a 10-2 record with a 2.55 earned run average on the mound. Was an All-State selection and also earned All-Area and Tri-City Athletic League first-team honors.

Personal: Son of Matthew and Sara Smith. Majoring in communications. Enjoys fishing and golf. Lists playing with USA Baseball in the National Team Identification Series in Cary, N.C. as his most exciting experience in sports.
