2011: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Made 13 appearances with 12 starts. Had a 6-3 record with a 3.95 earned run average. Had 22 walks and 58 strikeouts in 84 1/3 innings pitched. Led the team in innings pitched, was second in wins and second in strikeouts. Pitched 8 2/3 innings of shutout baseball and gave up just four hits in a 10-0 win over Cal State East Bay on March 4. Walked two and struck out seven in the gem. Blanked Cal State Stanislaus on just three hits over eight innings in a 7-2 win on May 1. Followed that up with a complete-game effort in a 5-2 win over Cal Poly Pomona. Allowed eight hits and two runs while walking one and striking out five. Went 2-0 and gave up just 11 hits and two runs over his final two starts. Struck out a season-high eight over 5 2/3 innings against Grand Canyon on Feb. 11. Got his first win of the season after allowing six hits and four runs in seven innings of an 11-4 victory over San Francisco State on Feb. 19. For his career, made 30 appearances and 26 starts. Had a 10-7 record with a 4.29 earned run average. Had 39 walks and 125 strikeouts in 176 1/3 innings pitched.

2010: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and was the team’s best pitcher. Had a 4-3 record with a 4.01 earned run average. Led the team with 13 starts and pitched a team-high 85 1/3 innings. Walked only 15 and struck out 62. Had his best outing in a complete-game victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 25. Allowed only six hits and two runs while walking just one and striking out a season-high 11. Followed that start up with a solid seven-inning performance in a win against Cal Poly Pomona on April 1. Allowed eight hits and two earned runs while walking one and striking out seven. Allowed six hits and two earned runs in seven innings, but got a no-decision against Sonoma State on April 23. Picked up his first win of the season by pitching eight strong innings against Cal State Stanislaus on Feb. 19. Gave up just six hits and three runs while walking two and striking out three. Improved to 2-0 with another strong start, going seven innings and allowing only one earned run at San Francisco State on March 5. Went at least five innings in each start and went seven innings or more in seven of his 13 starts.

2009: Appeared in only four games before suffering a season-ending arm injury and received a medical redshirt. Was 0-1 with a 12.15 earned run average. Walked two and struck out five in 6 2/3 total innings. Made his first and only start against California Baptist on Feb. 17 and allowed seven hits and three earned runs in four innings. Did not pitch again after that start.

At Santa Rosa Junior College: Had a 1-2 record with a 2.10 earned run average as a sophomore in 2008. Made 11 appearances and six starts. Walked 11 and struck out 20 in 34 1/3 innings pitched. Had a 3-2 record with a 2.97 earned run average as a freshman. Struck out 21 in 39 1/3 innings pitched. Made the Dean’s List as a freshman.

At North Monterey County High School: Earned first-team All-League honors as a senior and second-team All-League honors as a junior.

Personal: Son of Dennis and Diane Goodline. Majoring in urban learning. Enjoys football, traveling and camping. Lists getting drafted by the Chicago Cubs out of high school as his most exciting experience in sports.
