2011: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Made 13 appearances with one start. Had a 1-1 record with a 6.05 earned run average. Walked 22 and struck out 20 in 19 1/3 innings pitched. Pitched two scoreless innings and got the victory in a 7-3 win over Saint Martin's on Feb. 5. Tossed three scoreless innings and struck out a career-high four in an 8-4 win over Cal State East Bay on March 6. Allowed one or no earned runs in 10 of his 13 outings. For his career, appeared in 21 games and made six starts. Had a 2-3 record with a 7.86 earned run average. Walked 33 and struck out 35 in 44 2/3 innings.

2010: Had a promising first season with the Golden Eagles. Had a 1-2 record with a 9.24 earned run average. Appeared in eight games and made five starts. Had 11 walks and 15 strikeouts in 25 1/3 innings. Had an outstanding debut for the Golden Eagles, pitching five scoreless innings while allowing four hits in a 10-2 season-opening win over Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 4. Also threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings at Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 27.

At Riverside Community College: Made 10 appearances and had an 0-1 record in 2009. Was also on the roster in 2008.

At Temescal Canyon High School: Was a pitcher on a team that won the Southwestern League Championship and advanced to the CIF quarterfinals in 2007. Also was on the league’s All-Academic team.

Personal: Son of Michael Struble and Linda Hoffman-Struble. Majoring in business/pre-legal. Enjoys golf and cooking. Lists being the winning pitcher in the title-clinching game for Temescal Canyon’s first baseball league championship and going to the state junior college finals in 2008 as his most exciting experiences in sports.
