Biography

At Central Arizona JC: Competed for two years. Appeared in 40 games in 2009 and hit .289 with two home runs, 17 runs scored and 17 RBI. Was limited to eight games in 2010 and had four hits in 17 at bats with one home run, five RBI and one run scored.
 
At Phoenix Desert Vista High School: Competed in the Area Codes Games in 2006 and earned All-Region honors.
 
Personal: Son of Rod and Adrien Allen. Majoring in business. Enjoys movies and music. Lists the NJCAA District Playoffs in 2009 and the 14U AAU Nationals as his most exciting experiences in sports. Was drafted in the 43rd round of the Major League Baseball draft in 2007 by the Arizona Diamondbacks and in the 43rd round of the 2009 draft by the Detroit Tigers.
