Summary

Biography

2022: Joined Cal State LA’s women’s soccer program and was a big part of the team in her first year with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 16 games with two starts. Played a total of 325 minutes. Got an assist on a goal by Gisell Cruz at Stanislaus State on Oct. 21. Played meaningful minutes in all four of Cal State LA’s postseason games, including 17 minutes in California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament championship game win at Sonoma State on Nov. 6 and 11 minutes in NCAA playoff game against Concordia on Nov. 10.

At Long Beach State: Competed in two games as a freshman in 2021. Played a season-high 10 minutes against Cal in her Long Beach State debut on Sept. 19. Also played seven minutes against UC San Diego on Sept. 23.

At Newport Harbor High School: Was a four-year letterwinner and earned all-league honors all four seasons, including three first-team awards. Scored 63 goals and had 93 assists during her high-school career. Earned all-CIF honors all four seasons. Earned team Player of the Year honors as a junior and senior. Also won nationals with her club team, Slammers FC.

Personal: Daughter of Shaun and Caroline Rodriguez. Majoring in marketing. Enjoys hanging out with her boyfriend. Lists winning nationals as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she loves to work out and that she’s fast on the ball and has an amazing strike.
