Cal State LA Athletics

2023: Had a strong season for Cal State LA’s track and field team in her one year with the program. Finished ninth in the javelin at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Had best marks of 72.37 in the 400 hurdles and 116-3 in the javelin. Also competed for Cal State LA’s indoor track and field team and had best marks of 8.59 in the 60 meters, 66.29 in the 400, 4-7 in the high jump and 15-8.75 in the long jump.

2022: Was on Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall and competed in two meets. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 27:54.6 at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 17 and a best 6,000-meter time of 34:04.2 in the UC Riverside Highlander Invitational on Oct. 15.

At Cerritos College: Won a conference championship in the javelin. Also competed well in the hurdles.

At Mayfair High School: Was the team’s Most Valuable Athlete as a senior and sophomore and the Most Improved Athlete as a junior. Also named the Newcomer of the Year as a freshman. Had best marks of 17.00 in the 100 high hurdles, 49.46 in the 300 meters, 36-3 in the triple jump and 16-6 in the long jump. Was on the school’s Honor Roll twice, earned High Honors and was a Spanish Bilingual

Personal: Daughter of Michael Jackson and Lisa Edwards Jackson. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys bowling. Lists going to state and winning the conference championship in the javelin as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she has an older brother, Tyler, and a younger sister, Aneyah.
