Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Competed well for a second year with the program. Finished 11^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships in the long jump and placed ninth as part of the 4x100 relay team. Had a best mark of 17-1.25 in the long jump. Also competed for Cal State LA’s indoor team. Had a best mark of 15-7 in the long jump and 4-5.50 in the high jump.

2023: Had a strong year for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Had best marks of 61.22 in the 400 and 17-6.25 in the long jump in outdoor track. Was part of a 4x100 relay team that finished fifth in the CCAA Championships with a time of 48.31. Had best marks of 27.27 in the 200, 64.40 in the 400, and 17-1.25 in the long jump in indoor track.

At Cerritos College: Placed third in the state meet and earned All-America honors in the long jump. Earned third-place finishes in the long jump and 400 at th4e conference meet. Had best marks of 18-7.75 in the long jump, 26.61 in the 200 and 59.35 in the 400. Also ran on the 4x400 relay team that placed seventh in the state meet. Earned a Coaches Award.

At Bellflower High School: Was a Suburban League champion in the 4x100 relay and won a 200-meter championship in 2016. Was the Most Valuable Sprinter in 2016 and 2019. Team won 4x100 relay championships in 2017 and 2018. Finished third in the league in the 200 in 2019 and third in the 400 in 2017.

Personal: Daughter of Isaac and Monica Johnson. Majoring in natural sciences. Enjoys painting and drawing. Lists traveling to different states during indoor track season as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she hopes of traveling around the world in the future and that she enjoys spending time with family.
