2026: Continued to show improvement in her second year with the program. Had best marks of 14.17 in the 100 and 18.08 in the 100 hurdles. Set both best marks at the Cal State LA Twilight Open. Earned a 2025-26 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, 2025-26 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and 2026 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2025: Made her debut for Cal State LA’s women’s track and field team. Had best times of 14.21 in the 100 and 18.18 in the 100 hurdles. Earned 2024-25 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Schurr High School: Earned the Spartan Award in both cross country and track and field. Graduated with Highest Honors. Had best marks of 14.81 in the 100, 21.57 in the 100 hurdles and 59.88 in the 300 hurdles in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Hugo and Karin Ayala. Majoring in studio arts. Enjoys running and art. Lists the energy being around teammates as her most exciting experience in sports.
