Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Had best marks of 13.11 in the 100 meters, 15-9.75 in the long jump and 36-3.50 in the triple jump in outdoor track. Finished 10^th in the triple jump at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Also competed in indoor track and had best marks of 8.32 in the 60, 15-9.75 in the long jump and 36-3.50 in the triple jump.

At Temescal Canyon High School: Competed in basketball, volleyball and track and field. Earned first-team All-League honors four times in track and field and a two-time league champion in basketball. Was the Jumper of the Year three times and won three league championships. Received Honor Roll recognition. Had best marks of 39-0 in the triple jump and 17-1.50 in the long jump.

Personal: Daughter of Edgar Lightbourn and Yadira Ortiz. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys working out and building Legos. Lists setting a lifetime PR and ranking No. 2 in California in high school as her most exciting experiences in sports.
