Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring. Had best marks of 15.03 in the 100 and 11-9 in the long jump. Competed for the Cal State LA cross country team in the fall for a second season. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 26:55.3 at the Biola Invitational and a best 6,000-meter time of 32:19.60 at The Master’s Invitational. Finished 97^th at the CCAA Championships.

2023: Competed in three meets for Cal State LA’s cross country team in her first year with the program. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 35:52.0 while finishing 91^st at the CCAA Championships on Oct. 21.

At Fontana High School: Competed in cross country and track and field. Was a team captain of the cross country team and the jumpers on the track team.

Personal: Daughter of Jose Luis Monroy and Sandibel Perez. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys long runs, touge, car meets, gym and working. Lists joining cross country and track teams as her most exciting experiences in sports.
