Biography

2024: Had another tremendous season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the Cal State LA women’s soccer program. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention for the second straight year. Earned CCAA Player of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 23-29 after scoring the game-winning goal on a beautiful free kick in a 3-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills. Also scored a goal in the final minute of the first half in a 2-0 win at San Francisco State. Started all 18 games for the Golden Eagles and led the team with 1,625 minutes played. Had two goals and one assist for five points. For her career, appeared in 72 games with 64 starts. Had two goals and seven assists for 11 points. Played a total of 6,185 minutes.

2023: Competed for Cal State LA’s track and field program in the spring and earned CCAA Runner of the Week honors for the week of Feb. 20-26 after her first 800-meter race. Finished 11th in the conference in that event and had the team’s best time of 2:17.39. Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her third year on the field for the women’s soccer program in the fall. Started all 21 games for the Golden Eagles and played a total of 1,866 minutes. Had two assists for two points. Was second on the team in minutes played. Earned All-CCAA honorable mention. Picked up her first assist of the season on a goal by Shelby Melin that opened the scoring in the 42nd minute of a 4-1 win over San Francisco State on Sept. 29. Recorded her second assist on a goal by Liliana Gonzalez in the 62nd minute of a 3-0 win at Cal Poly Humboldt on Oct. 29. Played a season-high 110 minutes in a first-round NCAA Tournament game against Simon Fraser on Nov. 16.

2022: Was a key contributor for the Golden Eagles in her second season on the field for the women’s program.  Started all 21 games for the Golden Eagles and played a total of 1,828 minutes. Was second on the team in minutes played. Had three assists and three points. Picked up her first assist on a goal by Melody Landphear in the ninth minute of a 2-2 tie with Simon Fraser on Sept. 10. Sent a long free kick into the box that was shot into the goal. Picked up her second assist of the season when her free kick was knocked into the goal by Morgan Patea in a 1-0 win over Biola on Sept. 14. Got her final assist when Liliana Gonzalez headed in her free kick in the 18th minute of a 2-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 25. Played all 90 minutes in 16 games, including the final 13 games of the season.

2021: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles.

2020: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the women’s soccer program. Appeared in 12 games and made four starts. Played a total of 866 minutes. Had one assist for one point. Got her assist on a game-winning goal by Natalie Reynoso in the 68th minute of a 1-0 victory at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 27. Made her Cal State LA debut and played 66 minutes in a 2-1 victory at Biola on Sept. 5. Made her first start and played all 90 minutes against Sonoma State on Oct. 13.

At El Camino High School: Competed in soccer, cross country and track and field. Was the Most Valuable Player on the cross country team. Earned first-team All-League in soccer, cross country and track. Team won CIF championships in cross country and track and field and was a finalist in soccer. Won the CIF championship in the 800 meters and set school records in the 400, 800 and 4x400 relay.

Personal: Daughter of Luis and Rachel Moedano. Majoring in business management. Enjoys painting, going to the beach and running. Lists winning the CCAA Tournament as her most exciting experience in sports.
