Cal State LA Athletics

2021: Saw playing time for the national champions in his one year with the Cal State LA program. Appeared in three games and played a total of 35 minutes. Made his Cal State LA debut and played a season-high 18 minutes in a 3-0 win over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 8. Also played in a 4-0 win over Stanislaus State on Oct. 10 and in a 3-0 victory over Humboldt State on Oct. 31.

2020: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Loyola Marymount: Appeared in eight games for the Lions as a defender and played a total of 230 minutes in his one year with the program.

At Santa Monica College: Had an outstanding two-year career with the program. Earned first-team All-Conference honors both years and helped team win Western State Conference titles. Scored five goals with three assists for 13 points in 46 starts over two years as a center back.

At El Camino Real High School: Earned first-team All-League honors as a senior and helped the team to a Ralph Brandt Tournament Championship.

Personal: Son of Cesar and Kattia Oliva. Majoring in communications. Enjoys playing guitar. Lists winning a conference championship at Santa Monica College and captaining Real So Cal Academy 97/98 to a national cup championship in 2016 as his most exciting experiences in sports. Notes he was born in Lima, Peru.
