Cal State LA Athletics

2011: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in his second and final season with the program. Appeared in 15 games and played a total of 482 minutes. Played a career-high 61 minutes in a 2-2 tie at Chico State on Sept. 18. For his career, appeared in 16 games and played a total of 519 minutes.

2010: Saw action as a midfielder in his first season with the program. Played for 37 minutes at Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 1 in his lone appearance.

At Bellevue College: Was the team’s co-captain and scored three goals with five assists. Team won the 2009 Washington state title. Received NWAACC All-Academic team honors and earned membership into Phi Theta Kappa International honor society.

At Whitworth University: Team won the Northwest Conference and advanced to the NCAA Division III playoffs.

At Kamiak High School: Earned All-WesCo South Conference honorable mention as a senior and also received the team’s Coaches Award. Led the team in assists as a junior and senior and team advanced to the 4A State Tournament in his junior year.

Personal: Son of Robert and Natalie-Lew Rinke. Majoring in biology. Enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with friends. Lists being on a team that won the Washington State Junior College Championship and being able to work with players from the Seattle Sounders of the USL as his most exciting experience in sports. Has a younger sister, Rachel, who is on Cal State L.A.’s women’s soccer team.
