2011: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in his final season with the program. Appeared in 15 games and started nine times. Played a total of 1,057 minutes. Had one goal for two points. Made his Cal State LA debut and scored a goal in a 6-0 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 1. Made his first career start and played 90 minutes in a 1-0 win over UC San Diego on Sept. 9. Played a season-high 110 minutes in a 1-1 tie at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 30 and a 1-1 tie at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 16.

2010: Earned a California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic Award.

At Taft College: Earned second-team All-Conference in both seasons with the program. Also earned All-Conference Academic honors both seasons. Had two goals and one assist as a sophomore.

At Littlerock High School: Earned first-team All-Golden League honor as a senior and was a three-year varsity player. Was a team captain as a junior and senior and also earned team Defensive Most Valuable Player and Most Inspirational awards. Competed in soccer, football, volleyball and tennis.

Personal: Son of Aurelio Sr. and Carolina Sanchez. Majoring in fire protection administration and technology. Enjoys soccer, basketball, movies, hiking, playing the guitar, yoga, meditating, deep sea fishing, cooking and walking his dogs. Lists playing in the Final Four and being part of the state soccer finals in 2009 as his most exciting experience in sports.
