2026: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Had best marks of 10.85 in the 100, 50.16 in the 400, 4:52.39 in the 1,500, 14.47 in the 110 high hurdles, 5-7.25 in the high jump, 11-1.75 in the pole vault, 21-6 in the long jump, 29-2.75 in the shot put, 90-9 in the discus, 150-8 in the javelin and 6,099 in the decathlon. Finished second in the 110 high hurdles and 12^th in the decathlon at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Earned second-team All-CCAA honors for his finish in the 110 hurdles.

At College of the Sequoias: Was the Central Valley Conference’s MVP, earned the school’s Giant Award and was on the Dean’s List. Set a school record in the decathlon with 5,751 points.

At California Connections Academy: Earned High Honors and Honor Roll recognition.

Personal: Son of Juan and Trishun Espinosa. Majoring in film. Enjoys movies, gaming, reading and listening to music. Lists placing in the top eight at the state meet in his first time doing the decathlon as his most exciting experience in sports.
