Summary

Biography

2026: Had an outstanding first season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Had best marks to 10.74 in the 100 meters, 23.33 in the 200 and 49.53 in the 400. Had the team’s No. 3 time in the 100 and No. 8 time in the 400. Earned All-West Region honors as part of the 4x400 relay team that had a best mark of 3:11.07.

At Downey High School: Competed in football, track and basketball. Earned school record plaques in track. Had best times of 10.72 in the 100, 21.85 in the 200 and 48.67 in the 400.

Personal: Son of Erika Castaneda. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys driving and running. Lists running on the Oregon track as his most exciting experience in sports.
