Cal State LA Athletics

2026: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Had best marks of 22.57 in the 200 meters and 49.04 in the 400. Was part of Cal State LA’s 4x400 relay team that finished third at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 3:12.17. Earned All-CCAA honorable mention as part of the relay team. Also finished ninth in the 400 at the CCAA Championships with a season’s best mark of 49.04. Had the team’s fifth-fastest time in the 400.

At Long Beach Wilson High School: Competed in track and field and football. Had best marks of 37.33 in the 300, 50.31 in the 400 and 2:08.75 in the 800. Finished second in the Moore League in the 4x400 relay and advanced to the CIF Masters Meet finals and the CIF State Championship prelims. Had a best relay mark of 3:11.878.

Personal: Son of Chardae Chatman. Majoring in communication. Enjoys running. Lists winning a relay medal in Texas, winning at the Oregon Relays in the sprint medley and holding his school’s 4x400 relay record as his most exciting experiences in sports.
