Biography

2025: Competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring. Had best times of 2:00.90 in the 800 meters and 4:29.63 in the 1,500 in outdoor track and 1:29.07 in the 600 and 2:20.55 in the 800 in indoor track. Finished 17th in the 800 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 2:01.98. Earned 2024-25 CCAA All-Academic honors, 2024 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition and 2025 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition. Also ran for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall. Competed in all six races. Had a best 8,000-meter time of 27:41.0 at The Master’s Invitational. Finished 83rd at the CCAA Championships with an 8,000-meter time of 28:06.9. Placed 150th at the NCAA West Regional with a time of 34:44.2 over 10,000 meters.

2024: Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall in his first year with the program. Ran in five races. Had a best 8,000-meter time of 26:50.0 at the Biola Invitational. Finished 75th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 31:08.7 over 8,000 meters and finished 155th in the NCAA West Regional with a time of 42:21.67 over 10,000 meters. Competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring (2025). Had best times of 4:21.73 in the 1,500 and 10:07.88 in the 3,000 in outdoor track and 1:36.48 in the 600 and 2:10.86 in the 800 in outdoor track. Earned a D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, 2024-25 CCAA All-Academic honors, 2024 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition and 2025 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Los Angeles Harbor College: Earned Most Outstanding Runner and Most Improved Runner honors.

At Carson High School: Competed in cross country and track and field. Received recognition for having a 3.8 grade point average in high school.

Personal: Son of Ricky Osburn and Terri Richardson. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys escape rooms, content making and video games. Lists the feeling of kicking home towards the finish line to beat as many people as he can as his most exciting experience in sports.
