2026: Competed well for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Had best marks of 37-8.50 in the shot put, 112-10 in the discus and 109-3 in the hammer. Had the team’s best mark in the shot put and discus and the second-best mark in the hammer.

At Imperial High School: Competed for four seasons in track and field. Had best marks of 49-0 in the shot put, and 133-5 in the discus. Won IVL/SEC championships in the shot put and discus and reached CIFSDS Championships from 2023-25. Also competed in football for four seasons. Had 65 tackles and four sacks and earned second-team All-League honors in offense and defense. Earned the Senior Award in 2025 and won the team’s Iron Man Award in 2024. Team reached CIF playoffs in three seasons.

Personal: Son of Manuel and Erika Alvarez. Majoring in electrical engineering. Enjoys golf, fishing, basketball and video games. Lists being able to experience his achievements with his family, friends and coaches as his most exciting experience in sports.
