Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Won a conference title in the 100 meters and placed third in the 200 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Also earned a pair of fourth-place finishes as part of the 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams. Was named the CCAA Newcomer of the Meet. Earned a pair of All-West Region awards in the 100 and 4x100 relay in outdoor track. Had best marks of 10.32 in the 100, 21.24 in the 200 and 48.34 in the 400. Had the team’s fastest marks in the 200 and 400. Time in the 100 is No. 4 all-time at Cal State LA. Also competed in indoor track and had best marks of 6.70 in the 60 and 21.38 in the 200. Earned an All-West Region award in the 60.

At Mt. San Antonio College: Had best marks of 10.48 in the 100, 21.34 in the 200 and ran the first leg of a 4x100 relay team that ran a 40.19. Team won a state championship.

At Foster High School: Qualified for the state championships in basketball during his sophomore year. In his first year of running track, reached state in four events. Was seventh in the state in the 300 hurdles and 4x100. Also reached state in the 100 and long jump. Earned his team’s MVP award. Placed seventh at the national Junior Olympics in the 400 hurdles and had a time of 54.11.

Personal: Son of Clifford and Macrina Hill. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys playing basketball and video games. Lists winning the track and field state championship at Mt. SAC as his most exciting experience in sports.
