Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Competed for the Golden Eagles in his second year on the track with the program. Ran in the 4x400 relays at the USC Invitational and the Cal State LA Twilight Open. Earned 2024-25 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and 2025 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2024: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any meets.

2023: Had best marks of 49.41 in the 400 meters and 54.43 in the 400 hurdles in his first year with the program. Finished 13^th in the nation as part of Cal State LA’s 4x400 relay team at the NCAA Division II Championships. Was named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s All-Academic team and earned 2022-23 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

At San Pedro High School: Had best times of 15.36 in the 110 meter hurdles and 40.85 in the 300 hurdles. Earned All-City honors in the CIF’s Los Angeles Division in the 110 hurdles and 4x100 relay. Was a CIF state competitor in the 110 hurdles and 4x100 relay.

Personal: Son of Burrell Adams and Cathy Davenport. Majoring in business management. Lists running a 47.2 split in the 4x400 relay at the Azusa Pacific Last Chance Meet after being injured four weeks before that and then running a 47.6 split at the national prelims as his most exciting experiences in sports.
