Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Had best times of 22.80 in the 200 meters in outdoor track and 52.43 in the 400 in indoor track. Ran a leg for Cal State LA’s 4x400 team that finished fourth at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Earned 2024-25 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Santa Monica College: Had best marks of 10.77 in the 100, 21.92 in the 200 and 48.59 in the 400. Was named the Outstanding Student-Athlete in 2023.

At Venice High School: Had best marks of 11.23 in the 100, 22.73 in the 200 and 50.90 in the 400. Competed in track and field and cross country.

Personal: Son of Thomas McKiver and Tomoko Morita. Majoring in computer science. Enjoys gaming. Lists when there’s a rest in between races or workouts as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he messed up his hamstring last season.
