Cal State LA Athletics

At College of the Sequoias: Was third in the state championships in the long jump in 2024 and won the event at the NoCal JC Championships. Was second in the Central Valley Conference Championship in 2024 and first in 2025. Had best marks of 24-1.75 in the long jump and 45-0 in the triple jump. Also had a best 100-meter time of 10.88.

At Lemoore High School: Won the team’s MVP award and won the league title in the long jump.

Personal: Son of Tyrone and Devonderia Sanchez. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, Jiu-Jitsu and boxing. Lists the competition as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he was the President of the African American Male Education Network and Development (A2MEND), the vice-president of the student senate and captain of the track team at the College of the Sequoias.
