Summary

Biography

2010: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one season with the program. Appeared in 17 games with seven starts. Played a total of 1,080 minutes. Had one goal and two assists for four points. Made his Cal State L.A. debut and played 54 minutes in a 1-0 win over Biola on Sept. 2. Made his first start for the Golden Eagles and picked up an assist in a 4-0 win over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 8. Got the game-winning goal in the 109th minute of a 3-2 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 23. Drilled the game-winning shot from about 25 yards out with less than a minute remaining in the second overtime. Also had an assist in a 3-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 20.

At Taft College: Earned first-team All-Conference honors as a sophomore and freshman.
At Palmdale High School: Competed in soccer, volleyball and tennis. Was the soccer team’s Most Valuable Player and also picked up the team award for Defensive Player of the Year. Earned first-team All-League honors as a senior and second-team honors as a junior. Was on the school’s President’s List for having a grade point average above 3.5.
Personal: Son of Neil and Beth Coombes. Majoring in sports medicine. Enjoys art, painting, mixed martial arts and writing. Lists reaching the state finals with Taft College and the Dallas Cup with club soccer as his most exciting experiences in sports.
