2010: Had another strong season with the Golden Eagles in his second and final year with the program. Appeared and started in 17 games and played a total of 1,574 minutes. Played every minute of every game and led the team in minutes played. For his career, appeared in 38 games and started 36 times. Played a total of 3,246 minutes. Had three assists and three points.

2009: Had a successful first season with the Golden Eagles and made a big impact on the team. Played in the final 21 games of the season and started the final 19. Played a total of 1,672 minutes. Was a solidifying force on defense and also contributed offensively with three assists. Assisted on the game-winning goal by Miguel Cucue against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 23. Also assisted on a game-tying goal by Cucue in the Golden Eagles’ next game against Chico State on Sept. 25. Also had an assist on the go-ahead goal by Aza Gomez in NCAA playoff game against Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 13. Team allowed one or fewer goals in 18 of the 21 games he played in, including eight shutouts.

At College of the Sequoias: Competed for one year in soccer.

At Redwood High School: Graduated first in his class. Competed in soccer and football. Earned first-team All-League honors in soccer and second-team All-League honors in football. Soccer team won the 2004 CIF Central Section championship.

Personal: Son of Tom and Ann Brodersen. Majoring in economics. Enjoys cooking, going to the beach, studying and magic. Lists scoring the Golden Goal against the USC club soccer team as his most exciting experience in sports.
