Biography

2010: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in five games with two starts. Played a total of 133 minutes. Made his Cal State L.A. debut and played 28 minutes at Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 1. Made his first start for the Golden Eagles and played a season-high 51 minutes in a 4-0 win over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 8.

At El Camino College: Made the Dean’s List and was the Carmen Perry Athletics’ Scholarship Recipient. Was a “Scholar-Baller. Was named the team captain and also earned All-Conference honorable mention.
At West Torrance High School: Earned second-team All-Bay League honors.
Personal: Son of Alcio and Reyna Ruiz. Majoring in international business. Enjoys working out, traveling and movies.
