2010: Had another great season with the Golden Eagles and completed an outstanding two-year career with the program. Appeared in 16 games and started all of them. Played a total of 1,456 minutes. Had one goal for two points. Scored his first career goal for the Golden Eagles in a 3-0 win at UC San Diego on Sept. 10. Got the team's second goal, in the 84th minute. For his career, appeared in 36 games and started 35 times. Played a total of 3,076 minutes. Had one goal and one assist for three points.

2009: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles and made an immediate impact with the team. Appeared in 20 games and started 19 times. Played a total of 1,620 minutes. Helped fortify a defense that was one of the best in the nation. Team allowed only 17 goals in the 20 games he played in. Team allowed one or fewer goals in 17 of the 20 games, including eight shutouts. Lone assist of the season was a big one. Picked up the assist on a goal by Jason Swope that was a game-winner at UC San Diego on Oct. 30.

At Taft College: Earned first-team All-Central Valley Conference honors in 2008 and was part of a state championship team in 2007.

At Palmdale High School: Competed in soccer.

Personal: Son of Juan and Dora Rodriguez. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys walks on the beach, music, FIFA, dancing and skateboarding. Lists winning the state championship at Taft College as his most exciting experience in sports.
