Biography

At Taft College: Earned first-team All-Conference honors in 2008 and team won a state championship in 2007.
 
At Lancaster High School: Earned first-team All-Golden Valley League honors from 2005-07 and received second-team All-CIF honors as a junior. Was the team Most Valuable Player as a junior and the Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore and senior. Was named the team’s Rookie of the Year as a freshman.
 
Personal: Son of Hector and Esther Macias. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys eating, sleeping, running and playing FIFA on Xbox. Lists winning the state championship at Taft College in 2007 as his most exciting experience in sports.
