Summary

Biography

2009: Had an outstanding season with the Golden Eagles in his third and final season with the program. Appeared in 22 games and started once. Played a total of 808 minutes. Had four goals and eight points. Was fifth on the team in scoring. Scored his first goal in a 2-0 win over Cal State Stanislaus on Sept. 27. Also had a goal in a 3-1 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 2. Had his third goal of the season in a 4-0 win over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 16 and scored his final goal in a 6-1 win over Western Washington on Oct. 23. For his career, appeared in 50 games and started 15 times. Played a total of 1,731 minutes. Had six goals and five assists for 17 points.

2008: Made big strides in his second season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 13 games and started 11 times. Played a total of 422 minutes. Contributed an assist on Bryce Beall’s game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 21. Started the game-winning play with a hard shot that could not be saved cleanly by the Toro goalkeeper.
 
2007: Enjoyed a promising first season for the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 15 games and started three times. Played a total of 501 minutes. Scored a pair of goals and had four assists for a total of eight points. Picked up the game-winning goal with just 14 seconds remaining in regulation of a 1-0 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 29. Got his first career goal at Cal State L.A. in a 4-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 14. Picked up assists in back-to-back games at UC San Diego on Sept. 23 and Cal State Stanislaus on Sept. 28 and again against San Francisco State on Oct. 26 and Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 28.
 
At Canyon High School: Earned first-team All-Foothill League and first-team All-SCV honors. Was named the team’s Most Valuable Player. Competed in soccer and baseball.
Personal: Son of Martin and Gale Tripp. Majoring in computer information studies. Enjoys movies, sports and Arsenal. Lists winning a league championship at Canyon High School as his most exciting experience in sports.
