2009: Had a tremendous second season with the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 21 games and started 20 times. Played a total of 1,380 minutes. Had three goals and six points. Was sixth on the team in scoring. Earned third-team All-America honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Also earned first-team All-West Region honors from the NSCAA. Also earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 23 and had a goal in the next game, a 2-1 win over Chico State on Sept. 25. Had his third goal in a 6-1 win over Western Washington on Oct. 23. For his career, appeared in 43 games and started 26 times. Played a total of 2,197 minutes. Had six goals and one assist for 13 points.
2008: Made a big contribution to the Golden Eagles in his first season with the program. Scored three goals and had one assist for a total of seven points. Appeared in all 22 games and started six times. Played a total of 817 minutes. Scored the game-winning goal in an important 1-0 win over Chico State on Oct. 3. Also had the game-winning goal in the second overtime of a 2-1 win at Seattle Pacific on Nov. 1. Scored once in 7-1 win over Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 5. Finished tied for third on the team in goals scored and tied for fifth in points. Recorded his lone assist at Humboldt State on Sept. 26. Earned his first career start against Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 24.
 
At Santa Ana College: Earned first-team All-Orange Empire Conference as a sophomore and second-team All-Conference honors as a freshman. Team won conference championships both seasons and took third place in the state in 2007.
At Santa Ana High School: Earned first-team All-League and second-team All-CIF honors and team won a league championship. Was the offensive Most Valuable Player.
Personal: Son of Baltazar and Cecilia Cucue. Majoring in communications. Enjoys watching sunsets, movies, treasure hunting, game winners, skydiving, collecting coins, cooking, soccer, tennis, collecting coins, collecting Yu-Gioh cards and poker. Lists scoring game-winning goals and earning conference championships at Santa Ana College as his most exciting experiences in sports. Served in the U.S. Army for six years and served in Iraq in 2005. Was activated for the San Diego fires in 2007 and is currently involved in public speaking.
