Summary

Biography

2009: Had a sensational season with the Golden Eagles and completed an outstanding two-year career with the program. Appeared and started in all 23 games. Had 12 goals and eight assists for 32 points. Led the team in goals, assists and points. The 32 points were tied for ninth all-time on Cal State L.A.'s single-season list. Earned first-team All-America honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and first-team All-West Region honors from the NSCAA and Daktronics. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. An outstanding student as well, earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 honors. Had two goals and two assists for six points in a 6-1 win over Western Washington on Oct. 23. Also scored two goals in a 5-3 win over Cal State San Bernardino in a first-round NCAA playoff game on Nov. 13. Scored both goals in a 2-1 win over Montanta State Billings on Sept. 2. Had assists on both goals in a 2-1 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 11 and had a goal and assist in a 2-1 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 4. Named Cal State L.A.'s Exceptional Student-Athlete of the Year (male) for 2009-10. For his career, appeared in 45 games and started 26 times. Played a total of 2,109 minutes. Had 14 goals and 13 assists for 41 points. 

2008: Was a key member of the team in his first year with the program. Had two goals and five assists for a total of nine points. Was second on the team in assists and fourth in points. Appeared in all 22 games and started three times. Scored his first goal and also added an assist in a 7-1 win over Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 5. Also scored the equalizer late in regulation of a 1-1 tie at Western Washington on Nov. 3. Assisted on game-winning goals in consecutive 1-0 wins at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 14 and against UC San Diego on Sept. 19. Also assisted on the lone goal in a 1-0 win at Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 10.
 
At Cal Baptist University: Earned All-Golden State Athletic Conference honors as a freshman and was the only player to start all 17 games. Had two goals and two assists for six points. Scored his first career goal in a 4-2 win over Hope International. Had the game-winning goal on a penalty kick and an assist in an 8-2 win over San Diego Christian in the regular-season finale. Appeared in 16 games and started 15 for the Lancers as a sophomore. Had one assist. Earned academic honors as a sophomore.
At Eniac Technological School: Earned academic honors for being recognized in the top 15 percent of the school.
Personal: Son of Giovanni and Lucia Cino. Majoring in international business. Enjoys traveling, going to the beach and snowboarding. Lists practicing with the Italian National Team that won the 2006 World Cup and playing with Pele as his most exciting experiences in sports.
