Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Had another sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Won a second California Collegiate Athletic Association championship as part of the 4x100 relay team. Also earned second-team All-America honors as part of the 4x400 relay team. Earned All-West Region honors as part of the 4x400 relay team. Finished eighth in the CCAA in the 400 hurdles. Qualified for nationals in the 400 hurdles and finished 15^th in the nation. Had best marks of 10.90 in the 100, 49.02 in the 400 and 51.44 in the 400 hurdles. For his career, had best marks of 10.90 in the 100, 21.57 in the 200, 49.02 in the 400, 51.02 in the 400 hurdles and 22-6.25 in the long jump. Finished his career No. 5 on Cal State LA's all-time list in the 400 hurdles.

2023: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Won a CCAA  championship as part of the 4x400 relay team. Also earned second-team All-CCAA honors as an individual after taking second place in the 400 hurdles. Earned All-West Region honors in the 400 hurdles and as part of the 4x400 relay team. Earned CCAA Track Athlete of the Week honors for the week of April 17-23. Had best marks of 51.02 in the 400 hurdles, 21.57 in the 200 and 22-6.25 in the long jump. Is No. 5 on Cal State LA’s all-time list in the 400 hurdles.

At El Camino College: Was the school’s Male Athlete of the Year and a team MVP. Was a 2019 double conference champion, a double regional champion and a double state runner-up. Finished his career on the school’s all-time 400 hurdles top-10. Had a best time of 52.30. Was a team captain twice. Set a pair of meet records.

At Temecula Valley High School: Finished in the top-10 in the state in the 400 meters and 300 hurdles. Set six meets records and five school records in his high school career. Was a four-time MVP and a four-time Most Improved athlete in track and field.

Personal: Son of Bobby and Cheryl Workman. Majoring in business. Enjoys bowling, dancing, video games, billiards and golfing. Enjoys fishing, bowling and golfing. Lists traveling for competition as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he has a love-hate relationship with hurdles. They hate him, he knocks them down for hating him.
