Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Had an outstanding third season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Earned a California Collegiate Athletic Association championship as part of the 4x400 relay team. Also earned All-Conference honors after finishing third in the 400 hurdles. Had best times of 22.61 in the 200, 49.39 in the 400, 2:02.41 in the 800 and 52.98 in the 400 hurdles. Time in the 400 hurdles was an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. For his career, had best marks of 22.61 in the 200, 49.39 in the 400, 2:02.41 in the 800 and 52.98 in the 400 hurdles. Earned one CCAA championship and two All-Conference awards.

2023: Ran well for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring. Had best times of 52.00 in the 400, 2:02.43 in the 800, and 54.47 in the 400 hurdles. Finished ninth in the 400 hurdles at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships.

2022: Competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring. Had best times of 50.24 in the 400 meters and 2:04.68 in the 800. Was on Cal State LA’s cross country roster in the fall, but did not compete in any races.

At Long Beach Poly High School: Finished second in the state in the 4x100 relay and was on a team that finished second in the state. Team also won a Moore League championship. Was on the school’s Honor Roll. Competed in track and field and basketball.

Personal: Son of David Williams and Maria King. Majoring in Television, Film and Media. Enjoys filming, photography, barbering, poetry and movie watching. Lists competing and placing in the top-10 in conference as his most exciting experience in sports. Says this season is about to be one for the books.
