2024: Had a strong second season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Had best marks of 43-2.50 in the shot put and 115-9 in the discus. Finished 12^th in the shot put at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. For his career, had best marks of 43-2.50 in the shot put and 115-9 in the discus.

2023: Joined the Golden Eagles and had best marks of 40-2 in the shot put and 100-9 in the discus in his first year with the program. Finished ninth in the CCaa in the shot put.

At Mountain View High School: Earned first-team All-Purpose honors in football and took second place three times in the league finals for wrestling. Competed in football, wrestling and track and field.

Personal: Son of Miguel Barrientos and Gema Garcia Barrientos. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys movies, video games, mixed martial arts, camping and going to the beach. Lists linemen camps for football as his most exciting experience in sports.
