2023: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in his second and final year with the program. Had best marks of 22.98 in the 200 and 52.74 in the 400. For his career, had best marks of 22.89 in the 200 and 52.41 in the 400.

2022: Had a promising debut for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Recorded best times of 22.89 in the 200 meters and 52.41 in the 400. Finished 13^th in the 200 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships.

At Cuyamaca College: Had best marks of 11.28 in the 100 meters, 23.21 in the 200 and 52.60 in the 400.

At Saginaw High School: Competed in football and track and field.

Personal: Son of Shawn and Tami Mitchell. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys video games, working out, going to the beach and having a good time. Lists competing in big meets as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he was born in Sicily, Italy, on a Naval Base.
